Hello all!

Wow, I can't believe we are four months into 2008 already. Time has just flown by, hasn't it?

Anyway, those of you who are participating in the Super Leagues already know that Round Five of all the tournaments is starting this Friday. For the 1st-Half HY tourneys, that is the final round.

However, for those of you who are despondent over having already been eliminated, chin up! The beginning of June will mark the beginning of Round One of the 2nd-Half HY tournements, which, as before, is open to anyone who wants in!

(I am not going to go over all of the rules again. Anyone who wants a copy of the Official Rules can e-mail me, and I'll send it to them.)

The 2nd-Half HY will work exactly as the 1st-Half HY did. Here is the schedule:

6/6: Round One begins
7/2 or 7/4: Round Two begins (probably 7/2, given that Hancock opens on that day)
8/1: Round Three begins
8/31: Round One ends, first cut is made
9/5: Round Four begins
9/28: Round Two ends, second cut is made
10/3: Round Five begins
10/26 or 11/2: Round Three ends, third cut is made
11/30: Round Four ends, final cut is made
12/28. Round Five ends, winners announced

If there are 100 players in a tournament, the cut in each round will be 20% of that number, or 20 players.

First, some ground rules:

1. Do NOT sign up unless you are prepared to see this through until the end. I know unforeseen emergencies happen, and I accept that. However, if you don't know what your schedule is going to be like from now until the end of the year, I'd think twice about entering. Only enter if you know for a fact that you can make the time.

2. If have not participated in any of the Super Leagues as of yet, I need you to send me an e-mail at Shrykespeare42@gmail.com. The reason for this is very simple: The Super leagues are set up as "Private" leagues, and I have to have your address so I know where to send the passwords each month. If, however, you have already been a participant. You need only make your intentions known by posting a message here (or, again, sending me an e-mail).

3. If you do post a message here or send me an e-mail, make it absolutely clear to me WHICH tournament you wish to be in: the Ultimate, the Box Office, or both. I am not a mind reader!

Okay, that's it. We have a full month to get the number of participants up as high as we possibly can. There were 75 players in the 1st-Half Ultimate tournament, and 63 in the 1st-Half Box Office. I would just LOVE to beat those numbers, and if we could get either or both over 100 players, that would be awesome!

Well Im still in Ult FY (just) but I want more tournaments!!! Im gonna be so swamped.....

Anyway, sign me up for both Ultimate and BO Shryke, I haven't tried my hand at BO yet, so I may be an early elimination....

Don't know why I didn't bother doing the first HY leagues? Throw my name in both leagues for the second round, please.
