The movie will be pretty sweet, but I wasn't THAT amazed by the trailer. I mean, yeah, it was good, and this is probably #3 on my most anticipated summer list, but I'm definitely not to the point of freaking out from excitement.

I think I was more excited for this movie before I saw the preview. (No offense, mooreland) Anyways, I think its a very stupid idea to put the preview in front of The Spiderwick Chronicles. It should have been in front of Jumper, in my opinion.

I am halfway between moorelands teen girl pants wetting and J.I.'s "ehh, ok" review. I was grinning cause Indiana Jones is cool but that "whip-swinging" should have been used when he was 35 not 70. LOL

I still want to see it, but I don't think the trailer was all that good.

Half the trailer was snipets from the other movies, I think there will be a better one closer to the release date. Well I hope there will......

I wasn't a huge Indy fan growing up. Although I have seen them all enough times to quote most of the franchise, seriously. But that trailer was really cool. I'm definitely gonna see this movie now, whereas before I was kinda on the fence.

Sorry, guys. I'm a fan of the trilogy, and I was really, really, really hoping to geek out to the Indy IV trailer, like, about as much as I'd been looking forward to Star Trek -- whose own trailer really DID get my blood pumping, and how -- but the trailer did nothing for me. Nothing. Ford looks very, very old, unenthusiastic and uninspiring.

Hopefully, either my attitude will change, or the film's prospects will.

I remain, as always...

I completely agree.

In an ideal world, that's probably -- exactly -- what would have happened, but the fact that Spiderwick is being released by Paramount (which is also behind Indy), and that Jumper's a Fox property, drove that decision. For some reason, studios don't like to use marquee space in front of their major releases to promote their competitors' films. [Shrug] Go figure.

I built up both Spiderwick and Jumper. I got to preview spiderwick.
Well Indy Jones was supposed to be on both movies. With spiderwick having it attatched.
I get our trailer list in and guess what. I gotta take it off spiderwick. So I take it off. No big. We'll just have four trailers on the kids movie. I'm gonna see Jumper anyways so I can wait.
I go in yesterday and guess what. They want Indy Jones back on Spiderwick. Waste of time that was. I could've seen the mother effer.

Anyways. My manager saw it and said HF still looks pretty young considering his age and while the preview wasn't overly awesome. She still liked it. Especially his whip swing.

So hopefully I'll have time to see Jumper this weekend and I'll get to witness what everyones going on about. Should be interesting.

p.s. I caught one of her previews before I started mine. Anybody see the trailer for The happening? I think thats what it's called. It has Marky Mark in it. And it looks almost exactly like I am Legend. For shame on you M. Night shamalongapingpong.

You do realize I Am Legend is a remake of a remake of a movie based on a book, right? So...yeah. Also, The Happening might look like I Am Legend but I'll bet you it won't be anything like it. This is M. Night Shyamalan we're talking about.

I thought the Indiana Jones trailer looked cool. But, just cool, not spectacular.

Don't be absurd, cRAzY, it's Shyamalamaramadingdong.

P.S.: I'm calling his latest film, The Crappening... Next year's Razzie winner for Worst Picture. I guaran-damn-tee it.

Exception: when the teaser for The Dark Knight (Warner Bros.) first appeared last summer in front of The Simpsons Movie (Fox). I was always puzzled as to why they didn't just attach it to Harry Potter, 2 weeks earlier.
