first post -- not sure if this is the right place for it, but i just read that In the Name of the King is releasing tomorrow ( http://www.the-numbers.com/interactive/newsStory.php?newsID=3022 ) instead of 1/11.

I see what you're seeing. If that's true, then Uwe's got a total BO bomb on his hands. Ahhh, why can't I add this to my Bankrupts slate to make up for the unexpected BO blast that was "This Christmas"

Don't get me wrong. I pretty much haven't liked anything Uwe's done. At all.
But this has potential in my book.
Its got Statham. Its set in medieval times. Two Pluses.
I'll make my decision on whether or not I want to see it after I see a preview for it.

Wowzers. I thought usually movies get moved up because of buzz or to fit into an uncontested weekend. This just don't make any sense! Hopefully the public will respond and it will put up P2 like numbers.

I'm seeing In The Name of the King with a 4.1 IMDB rating right now, not quite in the 3s...

sorry, i guess it is in the 4's....i could have sworn it was at a 3.7 the last time i checked though!!!!

I didn't say it was gonna be awesome. Nor did I say anybody else was gonna like it.
I also thought Alexander was gonna be awesome. But that turned out lame.
All I'm saying is that its got two good pluses in my book.
Its got statham and sword fighting. And I'll watch a movie just for that. I just won't drive to another city and pay to watch it.
Like I said before. I'll wait for a preview before I make a decision on whether I really want to see it or not.

I think the trailer is out already, it just hasn't been on any movies.

agreed, 4.1 does make it seem like he could almost make a 5 or 6 movie if he tried really hard!!!!

Who cares when this movie is coming out. Honestly, it is based on the video game Dungeon Siege. HAHAHAHAHA. Just thinking about it makes me laugh. What kinda crazy thing will Uwe Bole think up next. Maybe he'll do a CGI adaptation of the classic Bubble Bobble. Perhaps Pong: The Epic Adventure. Birds Gone Wild: A Duck Hunt Tale. Hahaha. Maybe he could do a Pacman trilogy, who knows. The possiblities are endless with this guy. He should contact me, I could be a great manager for him.
