Not a problem, dude. Not at all. But you should include a "other" choice for those who prefer the limited-release films.

For me, the answer, believe it or not is Good Luck Chuck, which edges out its competition for the sheer hilarity of the trailer. "SEX! IT'S STILL... SEX!!!!"

Will See
Good Luck Chuck
The Brave One
Resident Evil: Extinction
War
Shoot 'Em Up
Mr. Woodcock
The Brave One

Might See/Might Wait For DVD
Eastern Promises
In The Valley of Elah
3:10 to Yuma
The Game Plan

Probably Not
The Brothers Solomon
Jesse James
Run, Fat Boy, Run
Feast of Love
Across the Universe

Will See-
The Kingdom
Jesse James
Good Luck Chuck
Resident Evil: Extinction
Mr. Woodcock
In The Valley of Elah
3:10 to Yuma
Across the Universe
Run, Fat Boy, Run

low potential-
The Game Plan or The Brothers Solomon

Good Movies, poor box office:
3:10 to Yuma
The Kingdom

I think The Kingdom will have big award potential, but likely won't get the attention it deserves in the box office, and won't be helped by the casting of Jamie Foxx. Now, this is obviously my own personal opinion, and I will preface this with the fact that I have not seen Ray.... But Jamie Foxx is a terrible actor.... I would have loved to see someone like Harry Lennix, Richard T. Jones, or even Terrence Howard in the role (and yes, I'm racial stereotyping because that is the only reason I can imagine why they would have propsitioned Foxx for this).

Though Good Luck Chuck is getting the press I think Run, Fatboy, Run will sweep the comedy genre for opening weekend. Simon Pegg has gained quite a cult following with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, this movie looks to be equally hilarious.

RE:Extinction is going to be the biggest box office of the month, because although 3:10 to Yuma and Assassination of Jesse James have the star power to carry them, the general public isn't ready for the Western revival hollywood seems to want. There was one in the 90's and we simply aren't ready for another yet. I think RE will also cut into the profits for War quite a bit for those looking for sheer action, and The Kindom will take those who want action/explosions with a story behind it, so I'm really up in the air on how War will fare between the two.

Definitly "The Assassination of Jesse James".
I'm a sucker for westerns, and this one looks magnificent. The trailer of it makes it look like it has been touched by grace, in the vein of a Terrence Malick movie (and I'm a big fan of Malick). Plus I'm not Pit crazy, but the rest of the cast is astounding : Affleck, rockwell, Deschanel, ML Parker, Shepard, Paul Schneider, Ted levine.. only excellent actors. I would kill to see this film !!!!

Also on my schedule :
Into the Wild, The Darjeeling Limited, Eastern Promises, Lust, Caution, 3:10 to Yuma, Shoot'em up, In the valley of elah, The Brave One, The Kingdom, Run Fat Boy Run, Feast of Love, Trade

I chose The Brave One, mostly for my homey Neil Jordan, who is directing. Jesse James could be interesting, but I'll wait for the reviews. 3:10, Elah, and the Kingdom could be worth checking out.

'3:10 to Yuma' can't start soon enough! I love Westerns and this one looks tremendous. Thought I read the budget was $75 million (salaries i assume) though which, if true, I would think means the film has very little hope of earning back the budget through theatrical release (all the real money is in dvd rental/ sales and tv broadcast rights so it doesn't matter.

I hope this turns out to be an example of why remakes can be a good thing!

Yeah in terms of going to pay to see one of these September movies. There's nothing on that September list that would make me hand over my $10.

Would probably pay to see Superbad then American Gangster. And that's it for the rest of the year.

Theres people that don't want to see good luck chuck. It has the Dane train and the oh so adorable Jessica Alba. In her underwear multiple times throughout the preview I might add(for all the movie pervs out there). If I wasn't a huge Jet Li fan I would definately make this my first choice. Other than these two. Shoot em' up and 3:10 to yuma looks tight johnson(don't ask).
