Wow, I blew my predictions as well...about half of my slates look like they're in big trouble right now.

Good point Ashkul. I've been sitting there buzzing along, winning and what not. This is definitely a wake up call. I shouldn't be trying to reinvent the wheel when the obvious choice was right there to take . . .I'll be back!

Ouch, half my slates are now looking decidedly average. Thankfully I chose Juno over this in one of my Ultimate slates.
But my box office slates all have this turkey and it looks like it will struggle to break the $100 mil mark.

100 mil?? no no no!!!! i'm going to call it's bluff and say it's got nothing more than 70 mil....that's a risky prediction considering it could yet show some legs, but i'll lay it on the line here, i don't see this movie going anywhere but downhill after the disappointing BO and word of mouth....another beowulf, if you will....

Well. That weekend sucked.

sure did....hope NT2 does well though, i just finished replacing Legend on all my slated with NT2....

Ash, Golden Compass will pass the 70mil mark, but not the 100mil. It will beat Eragon and make 80mil or so.

sigh, i guess it might 6....though i'd just LOVE if it ran headlong into a brick wall after this weekend and dropped by >55-60%....there's always hope, no??
