See, in New Zealand (where I live) it was released this year - which is why I listed it. We get many movies extraordinarily late here.

Also, did you like Hot Fuzz better than Shaun of the Dead?
I thought Hot Fuzz was far better than Shaun of the Dead. While SotD was an original take on a tired genre it still didn't impress me. I suppose I didn't find it funny, romantic or scary (which is not a good indicator, seeing as it was a romcomzom).
Watching Hot Fuzz, on the other hand, I laughed from the first few minutes right to the end, and thought the homage/wry-spoofs of American action movies were great.

300 kicked major a@#. This movie was the f'n bomb. Gerard Butler almost made me cringe when he let out those mighty battle cries. Special Edition here I come.

300 could have easily been 15 minutes shorter.

Never heard of it. Whats it about. Im guessin it was a straight to dvd or a low budget. I thought disturbia was really good too but i wouldn't say its near my favorite of the year. I really wanted to see pathfinder too. and perfect stranger was good but really f'n weird.

This Is England is either from a lesser-known studio, or it's a foreign film, I know that much. I thought about picking it for Ultimate Moguls, but went with some other choices.

1. 300 - Has one of the best battle scenes, the visuals were amazing, and it was just a very good overall movie. I guarantee anyone who has seen it would definitely say they had a great time.
2. Grindhouse - It was Rodriguez and Tarantino. Enough said. Planet Terror was pretty good, it had a good cast [Rose McGowan ] The story was ok, but I really loved the cinematography. Rodrigues has still got it. Deathproof was a very entertaining film. It was really cool that they had the Vanishing Point car in it. I think they should do more movies like Grindhouse.
3. Spider Man 3 - The effects were very good. I did think the battle scene should have been a little bit longer though, show him fighting Venom just a bit more. Thomas Hayden Church as Sandman I agreed with. Topher Grace did ok, but i thought they could have made a better choice
One other random thought on an upcoming movie
28 Weeks Later - 28 Days Later was just horrible. I have no reason to think the sequel would be any better. I have no clue why anyone would say it's one of the scariest movies ever.
