Sometimes I wonder where FM gets their projections from, I mean seriously did anyone think this movie would do only 23 mil? Certain movies are just outlandishly overvalued and some are terribly under. I may be overstepping my bounds, because they obviously know more than me. But sometimes it makes me wonder when they are so far off on a particular film.

Eh, just blame it all on me. I can take it.
I remain, as always...

Geezer, you can't win them all mate. It's not easy predicting ahead for MONTHS, some people fail when they have to predict ahead just days (cough-NicosPTApredictionswhichmademegetRR-cough).
I think that with a little research ourselves we can find what is overpriced and what is not. I think the biggest issue will always be the PTA points. It is very hard to allocate them on a daily basis, let alone on a monthly forecasting one. Last week King Corn killed it on Friday and was expected to get some points, then it died and apparently didn't go to heaven and got nothing the next two days, it's all very unpredictable.

[Grimace] Apologies, Barca...
You are of course correct, PTA is the hardest category of all to predict.

Don't beat yourself up mate. To be honest, i was going to chose it regardless. I have a bit too many oct-nov leagues, and i did it for a reason, that reason is that i am trying to work out my faults. My biggest fault is that i, for some reason, try to use as much money as possible. The reason i chose RR is because i had $13 left in one of my slates, and i decided that spending it all would be better even though i never really thought RR would be that good.

Which is exactly why I started the thread asking about this weekend's PTA.
