Where did Zach & Miri come from in those numbers, and Changeling seems to have dropped dramatically too. Man, until the actuals are up I can't really believe any estimates!!

Variety is reporting the same numbers

The domestic box office was flattened on Friday by Halloween, but picked up the pace on Saturday.

"HSM" saw a surge of nearly 400% on Saturday to end its second sesh with an estimated gross of $15 million from 3,626 locations for a domestic cume of $61.8 million, according to Rentrak. Overseas, the film grossed $25.9 million in its second sesh for a cume of $85 million.

Coming in No. 2 domestically was the Weinstein Co.'s "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," debuting to an estimated $10.7 million from 2,735 locations. Directed by Kevin Smith, pic stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks.

Lionsgate's "Saw V" came in third in its second frame, grossing an estimated $10.1 million from 3,084 runs.

Clint Eastwood's Angelina Jolie "Changeling," from Universal, grossed a noteworthy $9.4 million from 1,850 as it went nationwide to place No. 4. Drama posted a per location average of $5,085, the best of any film in the top 10 chart. Pic opened the previous weekend in a limited run.

Both Lionsgate and Universal said the Weinstein Co. was being too aggressive in their Sunday estimate. They predicted that the race between "Zack and Miri," "Saw" and "Changeling" could end much closer once official numbers are reported on Monday.

But they do add that rival studios don't buy Z and M's Sunday numbers.

Mojo's Weekend Estimates are up:

Top 5

HSM3
Zack and Miri
Saw V
Changeling
Haunting of Molly

PTA

Synechdoche
I've Loved You So Long
Rachel Getting Married
Changeling
Happy-Go-Lucky

Some Halloween resurrections in the PTA department.

Must say I'm disappointed with the lack of Dear Zachary business.
Only 2800 at 1 location. Guess I'll get by with the 8.8 IMDB.

Still waiting on Let the Right One In numbers.

That'll make a few people happy. Unlike everyone who took a chance on Dear Zachary, which made only $2,000 in one location.

This really weak BO weekend REALLLLLLY opens the door for the wide-releases next week, especially Role Models and Soul Men, which have a great chance at opening at #2 and #3 (in whatever order) behind Madagascar. And with only Quantum of Solace opening the following weekend, it could mean a few more Top 5 points after that.

Something to consider, given how cheap those two movies are.

Does anyone have any info on Let The Right One In? I can't find data on it's expansion and theater count for this weekend.

Hopefully it didn't drop too much. With a $12K PTA last week, if it can muster up anything above $6K PTA this week, it could get another 3 PTA points. Here's hoping.

Nothing on BOM, Barca. Probably not until tomorrow.

And good for those who stuck to their guns by picking Synecdoche. That's turning into a few good pick (God knows it cost enough), considering how lukewarm some of the reviews were.

P.S. Ooh, almost a Mogul, dude!

You've set the bar too high, and unfortunately this isn't a limbo.

Don't sweat it.

Just watch out for silversurfer. He may be upset that you're holding hands with his girlfriend in Round Nine of the Ultimate FY. (Translation = you have the same roster)

Trust me, I know. And it sucks, because I think its the best Ultimate Slate I have ever made, and I'm sharing it with her in the Super League, and undeadmonkey in the regulars league. Its pretty much a guaranteed winner.

Not to mention SuperShaan in the HY Ultimate. You're right, it is a damn fine slate.

Amen! If that holds and LTROI doesn't bomb out I could get 7 PTA points from holdovers!
