You get an IM in BO HY, you get knocked out in Ult HY... thats how it goes sometimes.

Wait, why am I so casual? I'm looking at my first IM here! WOOOO!

I also got an IM in BO HY and the boot in Ult HY. Can I use the IM to save myself in Ultimate?

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way RedRaider. And I sur hope you are right on this Shryke. I really want to keep my perfect record in tact.

Wow... A Secret just may go down in FM history as the greatest pick ever that ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN' NO ONE TOOK. That's Top 5 PTA for what, three straight weeks now?

Okay, I've plugged BOM's weekend stats into the grid, as well as all of IMDb's ratings as of today. Now, these might change slightly by tomorrow, and it's possible that FM won't acknowledge some or any of those changes, but here's how the bubble is looking as of this moment:

Ultimate FY

Shryke42 and uneadmonkey tie for 1st, 1/2 point ahead of sean14307.

geezer (45 pts) and Tonberry (44.5 pts) finish just ahead of the line, while Mister Funktastic (43.5 pts) finishes below it. Sorry, Mr. F.

Ultimate HY

silversurfer and rscharer do hold on to the top two spots, but how about this? Donte, TDslugger and aquamann all finish in a tie for 3rd place with 256.5 pts, one single point ahead of chugsthemonkey.

Serra242 (91.0 pts) and TeeBeeBee (90.0 pts) escape elimination, but dranscht (89.5) and rasgriz (88.0).

Box Office FY

numbersix and synestro are in with their IMs intact, asw878 and manincellv are out.

Box Office HY

SAMIAM1000, Alyson and silversurfer finish just above the cut line of $430M earned, which spells the end for rasgriz.

Hurrah, My first IM!! And I survive the BO HY cut too, a good week. If only I had held on in the Ult FY though, maybe I'm saving my best for the last round.....

Well that scared the hell out of me. But now that I survived my TDK-less Ultimate slates, watch out, because I will be there come December

Best of luck to you, geeze.

On a different topic (sorry, don't feel like starting a new thread just for this), I've decided to change things up a bit on my website.

Since I am limited to having only five blog entries on my main page at a time, this presents a problem when there are more than three films coming out in a weekend (like this weekend, when there are SEVEN), so I decided to have one entry at the top with the current Box Office Top 10 (and links to the trailers and reviews, if any), as well as links to the brand new movies (and reviews, if any).

Later this week, I'll put in an entry for the Top DVD rentals, and links to THOSE trailers and reviews. That way, the clutter is circumvented, and there is still room for the Poll Question, and maybe a couple of other things (like news).

(BTW, there is a new Paul-Newman-related poll question up, if you're interested.)

One other topic I'd like to get your opinions on.... what products do YOU think I should advertise? I know advertisements on websites tend to get overlooked, but what might be one that you would consider clicking?

At the moment, I have links to Amazon's DVD section, an online poker site, and a couple of others. What do you think might be a good fit? (Blockbuster said no.) Video games? Business opportunities? Any suggestion would be helpful.

Thanks,
Shryke

Netflix and IMDB are some clicks for me. There is also Rotten Tomatoes, IGN, and DHD.

Forgive my ignorance, I don't know what IGN or DHD are.

IGN = Imagine Games Network www.ign.com

DHD = Deadline Hollywood Daily www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com

Both very useful sites along with IMDB, RT, etc.

Are you telling me I jumped from 29th place to 3rd place tie this week?!?!?!?! And I am getting an IM. I don't see how that is possible just looking at my division.

Holy Hell!

Not that I am complaining but I am wondering how...

Also those ads for winning a free ipod or a dvd player by playing the little game seem popular. I know people who click on them all the time. You know "Shoot the duck" or Slap the Sumo" or "Punch the politician". Wish I had a clue who did them so I don't sound like an idiot trying to explain them.
