i'm not sure if this is going to be true for the other theaters playing fireproof but it saw a couple hundred dollar fall from friday to saturday and we're not open on friday mornings. It went from 2645 down to 2243 looks to be slightly front loaded at my theater

but don't you think this movie will have a higher-than-average sunday turnout?

Where do you work? The new theater, old theater, Indiana, or Meadows? I'd assume either the new or old since Indy and Meadows don't get new movies. Can you get me any posters? I tried to buy one from the manager for my daughter (KFP or Wall-E--she loooooooves Wall-E) and he wouldn't sell me one and I couldn't get Reynolds to get me one (he's a goofy ass, but I know him through a brother). I you don't work at the new theater, disregard the last part.

you would think with its content but it could be a toss up on one hand you could have everyone coming to the sunday mourning shows right out of church or everyone could of already seen it which is what it looks like. when we got Expelled it actual had a pretty decent drop on its first sunday. just going by that i really dont expect it to hold extremely well

If you don't have Wall-E or KFP, could you get a Bolt or Madagascar? Also "The Road" if its not too limited. They're for my kid, except the road. I wish I would have gotten a job there when I was in high school (wrestling for your rival). I at least would have been able to get 2 of the 3 Matrixes for my wife. I was there at least twice a month in high school, though and sometime all 4 weekends. The amount of cash that was spent there...

PS: I'll be watching you at the North/South meet... and you may be wrestling my brother (how ironic) he will be 152-171 (I'm not sure what he's weighing right now.

It's probably not so much that the manager wouldn't sell you a poster as that he legally can't. There's always that fine print on the bottom that says "not for sale or transfer." Of course theaters do it all the time, but it has to be either giveaway or nothing, because it's like selling property you don't actually own. Plus there's the whole deal of if you give one away, then everyone and their mom starts asking for a poster. That's the trouble we had for a while, until we just started telling every customer who asks that we have to send them back to the studio. Otherwise we have a list of 20 people who want to 'put their name down' for a Harry Potter poster.
