well, guys, i thought that dawn of the dead was really good, (that is both versions), and land of the dead was just plain funny. loved the guys sniping off the roof in the remake of dawn of the dead and loved the zombie getting tangled up the the umbrella in land of the dead.

but i agree some what with the statement made by crazy, 28 days later should have stuck with either the first half or the second half in its plot line NOT put both together. its like putting lord of the rings and gremlins in the same movie , just doesn't work!

28 Days later was definatley not a Zombie movie, The "infected" in 28 Days later can run very fast, while zombies have a more methodical walking. Check out How To Survive A Zombie Attack for your best information on Zombies. 28 Days later does not fit into the category at all.

Well, it all depends on what you define as a zombie movie.

Theoretically, the infected in 28 days later are dead, at least in any humane way.

If speed is a factor, then does that mean that the remake of Dawn of the Dead is not a zombie movie?

Personally, I would include 28 Days/Weeks Later as zombie movies, or just a variation on the zombie format

If anyone ever brings up the words Evil and Resident in the same sentence when referring to the Best zombie movie ever, they will be fed to my pet zombie Fido.

I know I just did what I said should be done, but it had to be said.
Those movies were soulless and generic. Not to mention horribly written and acted.

the best Zombie movie...
The Serpent and The Rainbow loosely based on the Zombie drug in Haiti in the early to mid 80's. If you have never seen it... do!

I agree Kid Icarus. I watched the first Resident Evil movie in the cinema because there was nothing else on. The first 2o minutes were enjoyable enough, but when she started karate-kicking zombie dogs I pretty much tuned out. At least the games were scary.

Yeah, I'm surprised no one brought up Braindead before. I think it's far funnier than Shaun of the Dead. I mean, zombie baby!!!

Yeah, that zombie baby was damn weird, freaky and hilarious when he's bouncing and rolling down the hill.
