First of all geez, I didn't say that I didn't love it. I mean it was pretty fucking amazing, but it really just fell short of what I was hoping for. It just didn't have that little thing that I believe made Batman Begins an absolutely 'PERFECT' film. Especially seeing as Christopher Nolan is my 2nd favorite director of all-time (three of his films are in my all-time Top 10), I had higher expectations than you or anyone else could possibly understand. My favorite director, favorite actors, and favorite superhero of all time...I just couldn't help but expect nothing short of absolute perfection, and that is why it's very few flaws disappointed me so much. Although, don't get me wrong, it was still incredibly brilliant. I'll be seeing it again tomorrow to get a second opinion...I'm hoping to change my opinion slightly, but I don't think in any universe it's the third best movie ever made.

I owe u several once again.
Hulk - 7/10
Hancock - 5/10 Wheels definitely come off in the last 30 minutes, the main problem being they didn't really have a useful badguy to be Hancock's foil, so they forced it with the Charlize angle and the random bank robber.
Hellboy II - 5/10 Didn't think it was any better than the first one. Cooler looking, yes, but that's it.
Dark Knight - 9/10 I think it snagged my best movie of the year so far and possibly my favorite superhero movie ever. I was really impressed, very few flaws. Everyone was fantastic in it and I also loved the fact that so many bit roles were tackled by legit/recognizable faces, (Bill Fichtner, Nicky Katt, Nestor Carbonell, Anthony Michael Hall, etc.).

Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D - 8.5/10 Very enjoyable movie. The 3D was awesome, and had many things popping out at you. Yet it takes at lot of time at the beginning to tell the story. The audience loved it.

SS, were you not irritated by a lot of the scenes in REC? Too many times does a character face an infected, and turn the other way only for them to be attacked. I mean.... duhhhh. I think the film sacrificed believability for shocks, and when it's supposed to be a documentary, the film is slightly ruined. I also think the infected child scene could have been milked for much longer, and yet again the makers just wanted sheap shocks.

Question
If you see a movie twice in theaters can you count it as two separate ratings for that same movie?
Because I saw TDK again and I'd like to give it a 10/10 again.

Yes, six, [REC] had its flaws, hence it only receiving 7/10. However, while we can sit in the safety of a theatre and stand in disbelief at some of the characters actions, I'm sure some of the most stupid and illogical decisions you make are when you are scared out of your wits. There is no time to sit and think things through. And remember, this is a film about a supposed paranormal/ disease which is turning each character into zombies one by one. I hardly think the filmmakers were going for believable!!
As I said, the film was not perfect, but I personally was absolutely terrified by it and it certainly was one of the best of its genre from the last year.
Anyway, more ratings from the festival:
Fear(s) Of The Dark - 6/10
The Orphanage 8.5/10

SS none of those films qualify for this thread. This is specific to summer blockbusters we will all be able to see, the list of qualifying films is back on page 1 i believe.

Ah, who really cares. Just don't include my films at the end of your summer. I need somewhere to comment on the films I see, and I don't get to see most of the blockbusters most of you see till after the end of your summer season anyway. So if I went along with the 'rules' I'd have nothing to add to this thread, and that just isn't fair!!

So will Journey to the center of the earth be listed at the end of the summer as the grade I gave it because I was the only one who saw it?

I guess so, as all films will be averaged out and if you are the only one to offer a rating, then I guess that will be its score. Looks like it will be near the top end then given your score!!

The Dark Knight - 9.653546346/10
Favorite parts: The magic trick (people clapped and hollered in my theater)
The Joker and how he got his scars....or is it the real story. I personally think he did it to himself since he loves to feel pain.
Joker, TDK, car chase. nuff said.
