I wonder how many 10/10s there will be for TDK??? Furthermore, I wonder how many of us have already given it a 10/10 without even seeing it......

And I will be see TDK when it comes out here (7 days and counting now) and will be seeing TDK for her choice too!! Lucky having a GF who actually appreciates decent film.

Meet Dave: 5/10. This is me being nice as well. I gave it extra points for having Elizabeth Banks. Started of ok actually, then it became cliche after cliche.

Mamma Mia!: 8/10. Superb musical. Really liked it. ABBA has some great songs, and my mother loves the band, which means i grew up listening to them whether i liked it or not. I was pleasantly surprised by how well some of the cast (especially Meryl Streep) could actually sing. Definitely worth a watch.

TODAY: TDK BABY!!! TWICE!!!

He lives in Australia, and so is a day ahead. Plus, they get it early, unlike us in NZ who are also a day ahead. We have to wait till NEXT Thursday!!!

Movie: TDK (that's right BITCHES!!)

Crowd: Full (keep in mind though that this was only a 40-50 seat Gold Class theater)

Trailers: who the bloody hell cares?? IM WATCHING BATMAN!!

Movie: Lets just say this; i'm still looking for my jaw!!

It was unbelievable. You wait MONTHS for a movie, and you just go in hoping it won't disappoint, and not only does it not disappoint, it turns out WAY better than you expected, which is hard to do considering i was expecting a masterpiece. All what you have read about Heath Ledger is true, he IS the joker, you'll leave the movie going Jack who?

As for ticket sales updates, the Gold Class cinemas are mostly sold out. The normal cinema i go to (which i will head over to to watch TDK again in 3 hours time) has also been having a superb sales day. They have shows at 2pm, 3pm, 3pm, 4:15pm, 5:15pm, 5:15pm, 6:15pm, 7pm, 8:30pm, 8:30pm, and 9:20pm..

None are sold out yet, but i wouldn't expect them to be on a Wednesday with no holiday. However, they are all in the 65%-80% full category, and there was a 20 minute wait in the line to get my tickets. I asked how well the sales were doing and the ticket guy said "MUCH better than we expected on a wed, we don't even have enough staff"..

Also, you should note that WB and cinemas are up in arms to protect this from piracy. They had people literally stationed there so that no one would record the movie, they also had warnings of this all over the place.

Anyway, i'll put in more crowd reports when i come back from my next showing.. Until then i just wanted to say that the Joker has "put a smile on my face".. 10/10

so I finally saw Hancock. I love Will smith and Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron and superheroes- so I thought I had to love it. Incorrect. it was fine- I give it a 6/10, but it just felt so contrived in so many ways.

What really amazed me was the ridiculous amount of product placement. From the first close up of seagrams in the very beginning all the way through the end credits, it was ridiculous the number of brandnames and products featured. I wouldn't be surprised if the movie made more in placement fees than it did at the box office.

Can I just go ahead and give TDK a 100/10 right now even though I haven't seen it yet?

Is a 100/10 even legal?

Oh and Hancock 7/10 Wall-E 8.8/10

Knowing your type of movies, I have to say, you will probably not like Bank Job.

You are doin' the same as me tho, I am going to see TDK at midnight then Hellboy in the afternoon tomorrow. Not quite a double feature, but same day

Wall-E 10/10

Wow-E! I've never been left absolutely speechless by a movie before, but I honestly can't come up with the words to describe how I felt after just seeing this movie. Movies like this are the reason I love movies so much...Buscemi, when I first read your comment about Memento or Wall-E being the best film of the decade, I said, "he's crazy. Wall-E can't be that good!" Now, after having seen it for myself...Okay. It's definitely a close call. And also, how awesome does Bolt look?

Bolt should alright in 3-D but it looks kind of lame. And I'll be angry at Disney and filmgoers in particular if it gets a bigger marketing push and outgrosses Wall-E. Yes, I'm scared that the miscasting of Miley Cyrus and the Thanksgiving release date could make it a megablockbuster.

But I still wish Chris Sanders (the creator and voice of Stitch) has stayed as director (he left due to the lack of creative control of the project as well as the change to CGI).

oh, i didn't know all that...I just thought the trailer looked pretty funny. Well, I guess compared to the Madagascar 2 and Beverly Hills Chihuahua trailers...SHHH!: The Deaf-Mutical Adventures of Helen Keller looks funny too.
