I have seen the trailers for every single one of these movies listed (except for Illegal Tender and Death Sentence). Here are my impressions:

Bourne Ultimatum, War, Balls of Fury and Stardust grabbed my attention the most. I will definitely be seeing those films in theater.

Charlie Bartlett, Rush Hour 3, and The Invasion I might see, depending on reviews.

I might see Death Sentence, Halloween, Mr. Bean's Holiday, The Last Legion, Illegal Tender and Penelope on DVD, if they are reasonably well-received.

I am going to give a total pass on Underdog, Hot Rod, Becoming Jane, BRATZ, El Cantante, Daddy Day Camp, Superbad, Wedding Daze, and Death at a Funeral.

What do y'all think?

I chose The Invasion based on the trailer. I've heard a lot of good about Penelope. I haven't made my mind up about Bourne. The first was okay, and I've yet to see the second, maybe it'll be on TV soon.

Stardust could still go with way with me. I think it'll be loved or hated, but not in between.

My first pick is the Bourne Ultimatum, with a two-way tie for second between Rush Hour 3, and Stardust. Then comes War, but the rest of the lists offerings are probably only interesting enough for me to see at the dollar theatre.

SUPERBAD for me. It looks hilarious and Apatow can't go wrong. I don't know why more people don't know about this one considering the success of KNOCKED UP.

The rest of them I don't care that much about. Also, Wedding Daze has been moved out of it's release date and is no longer an August release (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/schedule/?view=changes&p=.htm)

I definately want to see The Bourne Ultimatum, War, and Halloween.

Hot Rod and Superbad also look pretty funny.

Thanks for the heads up, bobbin... I've removed Wedding Daze from the list. And darn, The Eye has been bumped from October to the frozen wasteland of February? Shoot. I guess I'll have to see Good Luck Chuck for my Alba fix until then.

On the other hand, maybe I'm being too harsh. This makes FIVE really cool-sounding movies that are scheduled for Feb '08:

The Eye (2/1) - Jessica Alba supernatural thriller. Kewl!
Jumper (2/15) - Time-travel sci-fi story with Samuel L. Badass!
Spiderwick Chronicles (2/15) - Another high-$ book adaptation, with Freddie Highmore. Gnarly!
Vantage Point (2/15) - Presidential assassination drama, which an AWESOME trailer. Dude!
Babylon A.D. (2/29) - Futuristic actioner with Vin Diesel. Badasser!

That is, of course, if these dates stick.

I've got war right on top of my list. Jet Li has been on fire the past few years and he's not the kinda guy that just gets blown out. Other than that I wouldn't mind seeing balls of fury, superbad, maybe rush hour 3, and possibly the bourne ultimatum. Other than that if they don't come to our theater then I'll wait for dvd.

FM now has War coming out 9/14 instead of 8/24. Can anyone verify this?
