Since we all seem to be on this horror movie kick, what with the Hostel thread and the actual horror movie thread, I thought I'd feed the frenzy.

Saw 4 poster.

Meh, I don't know. I always liked the Saw series's artwork, one-sheets and the like (I have all the one-sheets, including the illegal one from #2), I don't know how I feel about this one yet.
Are Jigsaw and Amanda turning into cannibals?

Thoughts? (if you care)

And Here I was starting to think everyone pretty much hated the saw series. Anybody else have the Jigsaw poster from number three. I had to pull major strings in my theater to get it considering they only sent one. Picture above is pretty sweet but they'll have to do better than that if they're gonna out do the first three.

i really don't like the poster. And i don't think it was a good idea to make a saw 4. The trilogy was enough in my oppinion

Hey, if Halloween has like 7 or 8 eight movies. I wouldn't be surprised if Saw gets to like Saw 10.

And those posters are looking pretty good.

Those Lionsgate marketing guys never cease to amaze me sometimes.

Course I got the blood-riddle Jigsaw Saw 3 Poster. Had it framed and everything the day it showed up. How many of those are there? I heard it was only one per theatre showing the print. That would put it at around only 3000 or so.

Sadly, I believe 4 will jump the proverbial shark this go 'round. They've been going down hill, 5 might make it's premiere straight to dvd.

In an effort to push publicity for said second sequel, Lionsgate released a set of posters to theatres playing the movie. According to the story, verified by sources within the Lionsgate marketing dept, in order to get the color just right in the hood that Jigsaw was wearing in the poster, they took a few vials of his own blood and added it to the red ink they were printing with. This is the result...

The pic does it no justice, it looks really good mounted and framed...
As I said above, there are only about 3000 of these in existence, 4000 at the most.

That's pretty cool then.

But I gotta admit that little red riding hood poster is pretty bland.

It's simplistic in its beauty.

Everything about Saw has been over the top, from the characters to the artwork. For this one, they pulled it back a notch.
Forget the bloody carnage for a minute, all the torture and killing and maiming, what is the whole story all about, Jigsaw.
Simple yet elegant.
Well, for a horror movie anyway....

Ah. Finally somebody has something nice to say about Saw. I was wondering how many of those posters were made. I heard the blood fused posted auctioned up in the thousands. Has anybody seen the halloween poster yet. I'm still disappointed they're remaking this movie or sequeling it or whatever but I will say that's one hell of a poster.

Yeah that Halloween poster is pretty wicked.

It's a really layered poster. Didn't realize all the elements to it after seeing it twice.

I wish I could ask Rob Zombie what the hell he was thinking. Everyone knows the best horror movies aren't remakes, sequels, prequels, or whatever. Its the f'ing originals. Stick to corpses man cause if you start messing with jason or freddy someones gonna get hurt.

True. He should've made a full-length film of that short he had in Grindhouse.

What was it again? Werewolf Women of the SS?
