Kung Fu Panda did $60.24 M and You Don't Mess with the Zohan - $38.53 M. If the first movie has some chances to surpass 200 mark, and be on top 10 at the end of the contest, the second may accomplish $100-125 M...
This weekend - The Incredible Hulk and The Happening. We'll see their numbers too ASAP... I think that the first can be a suprise-hit of over 120 max. 150 M, but the second will bomb... Che sera, sera...

Kung Fu Panda should end up with around $235 million, and Zohan should end up with around $136 million.
The Incredible Hulk in my mind should end with close to $160 million, and the Happening should end with $55-60 million.

The Incredible Hulk looking good but not great with a $57 million opening weekend! (The BOM numbers came in a lot stronger than what Steve was projecting.) It could just miss out on $150 million. The Happening looking strong with a $30 million opening weekend, but it should fall hard next weekend. Kung Fu Panda holding up slightly better than Cars, and Zohan falls around 60% this weekend.

The Incredible Hulk did OK - $55.41 M and The Happening - $30.52 M, more than I presumed. Iron Man will surpass today 300 mark and Indy 4 will do it next week. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, I dont' think will surpass 150 M. Same to Sex and the City. Kung Fu Panda will surpass 200 mark and You Don't Mess with the Zohan and The Happening the 100 M mark.
This weekend we'll have Get Smart. Nicodemus and Alyson have been chosen it. Good luck, guys! On the other hand, this time I double-checked and nobody has been chosen The Love Guru.

I don't even think it will hit $140 million, much less $150 million.
Same to Sex and the City. Kung Fu Panda will surpass 200 mark and You Don't Mess with the Zohan and The Happening the 100 M mark.
No way The Happening hits $100 million. No way. It had a frontloaded weekend and it would fall 55% or so even if it didn't have bad word of mouth.
This weekend we'll have Get Smart. Nicodemus and Alyson have been chosen it. Good luck, guys! On the other hand, this time I double-checked and nobody has been chosen The Love Guru.
Get Smart should have a total of around $120-130 million.

June 20–22, 2008 weekend.
Get Smart with $38,683,480 in its opening weekend has chances to surpass 100 mark; I give a shot for 105-115. The Love Guru with only $13,907,130 in its first 3 days is a big disappointment. I even can't believe this could surpass 45 MM USD...
Both Incredible Hulk and The Happening have had a more than 60% loss than OW. That's why I don't think that the first can surpass 175 MM USD and the second 75
Meanwhile, Iron Man, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Kung Fu Panda - I think that all of these can be in final top 10.
Sex and the City has a real shot to surpass at the end of this week The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Who has thought of this 2-3 months ago??
Speaking of this week: this Friday we'll have 2 BIG releases - Wanted and, first of all, Wall-E, 2 movies that can do some history... I'm buuuuurning of impatience

After the first estimations: Wall-E - $62.5 M, Wanted - $51.1 M. I was a little surprised also to see a better PTA for Wanted - more than $500 than Wall-E - 16.100 Vs. 15.656...
Wall-E can surpass 200 mark. But for Wanted, the competition will be cruel - Hancock will be released on 2nd of July. Big Willie Smith is Mr. 4th of July! And coming very soon - Hellboy II: The Golden Army (July, 11) and the most anticipated movie of the year - The Dark Knight (July, 18 ... Wanted deserves a better faith than The Incredible Hulk... I hope of $140-160 M. We'll see! What about Hancock? It will surpass I Am Legend numbers? What do you think?? We have 13 (lucky courageous betters on it: Thomassi87, jas_8382, JackO, rob9802, BanksIsDaFuture, SuperShaan, annyonggob888, BrentBaines, J.I., Chienfantome, BarcaRulz, AzureWolf and yours truly.

Did anyone bet on Wanted? Awesome for Wanted. I see it making around $150 million. As for Wall-E, I think it will top out around $250 million. Hancock could go anywhere. I'm thinking around $230 million, but it could go higher.

I think a lot of Wanted's opening weekend had to do with the fact that it's the perfect movie to run alongside Wall-E because they don't compete for much of the same demographics. With Hancock, Hellboy II and The Dark Knight coming out back-to-back-to-back I think it's going to have a somewhat hard fall, even if the fall is still above expectations. Think about what happened to the Hulk, just like delfinasu said. It'll easily hit over $100M but where it goes after that is anyone's guess.
Wall-E on the other hand should continue to be rock solid - where's its competition... Space Chimps? Pixar's movies usually have long legs anyway let alone when it's one of the only family friendly movies in a sea of adult only releases... I think it could hit $280M.

Hancock did OK - $103.88 M in its first 5 days. I think that Hancock will do $220-230 M on its total run, which is not bad at all, just like Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E. Which will be the final configuration? What do you think? Indiana Jones 4 just passed 300 mark and is running after Iron Man... We'll see if it will surpassed it... Wanted, unfortunately, as I presumed, will follow the "The Incredible Hulk" pattern, thought it is a movie waaay better than this one. Meanwhile Get Smart will surpass 100 mark, but You Don't Mess with the Zohan has very little chances for succeed (sorry Shryke42 and Lili . The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was beaten by Sex and the City...
This weekend we'll have 3 movies: Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D and Meet Dave. What do you thing about these. I'd say:
Hellboy 2 - 30-35 OW/ 75-90 final;
Journey... - 20-25 OW/ 60-75 final;
Meet Dave - 7-15 OW/ 20-40 final.
Che sera, sera.
Nota bene: all of these 3 movies haven't been chosen by anyone of us.
I think that we are all waitin' 4 The Dark Knight. BUT all of us have been chosen it! So, it really doesn't matter in terms of this contest... BanksIsDaFuture was bettin' on Mamma Mia!...

Until some estimations for TDK, let's see last weekend numbers:
- Hellboy II: The Golden Army had a very good start: $ 34.54 M, more than its predecessor and has chances for $75-80 M. I don't say more than 90-96 because of TDK...;
- Journey to the Center of the Earth did $ 21.02 M - that means 50-60 at final...;
- Meet Dave was the "bomb of the week" - $5.25 MM. I even can't see more than $20 M after its total run - maybe $15 MM.
The other movies:
- Hancock - still strong - no more than 50% decreasing on its 2nd we - it can do $ 230 and surpass Wall-E ...
- Wall-E, depending on its legs, can do 210-220;
- Kung Fu Panda has surpassed 200 mark and can do even 215-220; Who's gonna win? Walle, Kung Fu Panda or... Madagascar 2?
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is after Iron Man: 310.49 - 313.42 now, but I think that Indy 4 will finally win close with: 316.12-315.72.
And the total run for the rest of the movies could be:
Sex and the City - 154;
Wanted - 140;
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - 140;
The Incredible Hulk - 135:
Get Smart - 130;
You Don't Mess with the Zohan - 99-100;
This weekend we'll have The movie that can do some History, breaking BO records and even a very high UR: The Dark Knight ... Everybody is waiting for the last performance of Heath Ledger. I heard of non-stop projections in some theaters!!! The anticipation is very very HIGH !!! And some will see it second time at IMAX Will have more than $150 M in OW and more than 400 at final ? I think that it can surpass these numbers... We'll see! Even the pessimist ones say 120/ 350... So, even so, THIS will be The Blockbuster of This Year. I'm waiting for some numbers... Maybe later...
As for our contest, TDK was chosen by EVERYBODY. BUT BanksIsDaFuture hopes that Mamma Mia can do more than last year's Hairspray I seriously doubt it!

The Dark Knight surpassed in only 10 days the $300 M mark!!! Exactly $313,781,677 !!! What do you think: it will sink the Titanic? I personally doubt it... We'll see! I think of something between $470 M - $510 M... What do you think?
In its second weekend, The Dark Knight had $75,166,466! That means (with the exceptions of Indy 4 & Iron Man) more than any other movie released this year until now, in their opening weekend!!! More than OW of Kung Fu Panda, Hancock or Wall-E. More than Wanted AND 21 !!!... INCREDIBLE!
Step Brothers (chosen by cRAzY) did a reasonably $30 M (I'd say 80-85 in final), BUT The X-Files: I Want to Believe was a BOMB, WITH ONLY $10 M in their OW. Sadness for the fans of agents Mulder & Scully!... I don't think that this could surpass even $35 M. Fortunately, no one has chosen it.
This weekend we'll have The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor with 7 betters and Swing Vote. I don't see more than 45, respectively $10-15 M for the second, in in their OW. What do you think?

You're going way too low on this one. $500 million is a lock. $520-530 million looks about right.
