I will be starting the registration process for the 2009 Super Leagues sometime this weekend or early next week at the latest, so watch these Boards closely. Along with sign-up information, there will be some proposed rule and format changes that I want everyone who registers for a tournament to weigh in on.

All done in the Full Year Box Office Leagues...oh well, lasted longer than I thought.

Full Year Ultimate is where the competition is at anyway. I don't think I'll win, but I'm hopeful for a good showing.

Because regrettably, Banks, the combined stats of your other seven films put you so far behind everyone else that even HSM3's $40M-plus and five Top 5 points didn't move you past very many other players.

A great second week from HSM3 will probably enough to keep you from finishing in the basement, but not enough to save you.

I put all my eggs in that singing, dancing gay ass basket and I got shafted. Dammit. I am now officially done in all the Super Leagues.

And hell yes I will be playing again.

HSM3 tanking. Zack and Miri tanking. Didn't think this would happen.

Well, some people are going to be VERY happy this happened, while others will most decidedly not.

I don't know how the PTA numbers are going to shake out at all, but based on Mase's projections, here are my best guesses for the August Super Leauges:

Ultimate FY R8: Zack and Miri, despite it's underperformance, will be enough to vault kblane out of the RZ, which means that MrHam will be kissing his IM goodbye.

Ultimate HY R3: This weekend's numbers will end up saving only one person's bacon, and whaddaya know, it's kblane again. Man must be living under a good star. Unfortunately, his salvation means the end for one other person, who I'm projecting to be jfs556.

Box Office FY R8: I was SURE that HSM3 would make enough in its second weekend to save Alyson, becs and mutard7, likely spelling the end of the road for transformers2 and A_Roode's immunity. But now, it looks like Teh_Sham will soon be the only remaining woman in this tournament, and mutard will fall INCHES short. (Of course, this is all guesswork.)

Box Office HY R3 - All Zack & Miri had to do to save leestu and sobravo was manage $10 million. Oops. However, HSM3 and Saw 5 had just enough mustard to save BarcaRulz and qadude1969. And, oh, yeah, it looks like TDslugger02 is going to pass chugsthemonkey for that 3rd and final spot in the GZ.

Next update: Sunday morning, when BOM projects the weekend totals.

Good news/bad news:

In the Ultimate HY, it looks like you're going to finish 2nd, so you'll get an IM. However, in Box Office, I have you finishing 4th, one spot behind, well, ME, just out of the Green Zone.

Woohoo.. I survived the cut. Won't do too much good though, i'm certain that it's good night for me in the the Box Office HY part 4. Body of Lies? What was i thinking?
