A full length film of Robot Chicken may make my head explode. I love the show but its pretty frenetic.

Alyson, it's totally happening. Apparently, Robert Rodriguez is probably going to direct it. Here's the link:

Malcolm In The Middle quit being good when it became The Reese Show. Same thing with That '70's Show when it became The Kelso Show.

Check this out:

How to fuck up a potentially good idea (hopefully Travolta and Kaplan make cameos).

And if he were still alive, John Ritter would have made a great George Jetson.

I really like rottentomatoes' suggestion of William H. Macy as George Jetson. He totally fits the role to me.

They've been saying that for a while now..... but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Danny DeVito would be a PERFECT Mr. Spacely

Steve Martin was rumored to play George but he turned it down.

Unfortunately, this can't happen anymore but I would love to see . . .

The Adventures of Pete and Pete

Also,

Ren and Stimpy
Dexter
King of the Hill
The Boondocks
The Sarah Silverman Program
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

and all the rest got mentioned already (Firefly, etc.)

Do I really need to contribute here? I've mentioned time and time again the one tv series that I virtually idolize. There's only one tv series that I care about so much that I'd do anything for a movie... and I won't repeat it cuz I've said it DOZENS of times before. DOZENS!!!

Pete and Pete is amazing. One of my favorite shows as a kid. It is one of two shows that i own the dvd's for the series of (that and Titus). I am so glad you mentioned that, I just watched some episodes last week.

There was a Pete and Pete movie in development, but it was rewritten and became Snow Day.

And giving Sarah Silverman a starring role would be a disaster waiting to happen. Even worse than Andy Samberg getting a film.

Snow Day was supposed to be a Pete and Pete movie? Damn I actually do kind of see that, and yes I have seen Snow Day (I even saw it in theaters, I was young and naive, don't judge me). It probably would have been a million times better if it was a Pete and Pete movie though.

Man... Pete & Pete, I hadn't thought of that show in for freakin ever. I had such a crush on *both* of the Petes. Nickelodeon had basically the best show base of any channel for about 5-7 years there..
I mean Double Dare, Alex Mack, Ren & stimpy, Clarrissa explains it all, Doug, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Rocko's Modern Life (Holy hell how has this one not come up before, great freakin show!), hey Dude, Salute your Shorts...

Ahhh Nickelodeon nostalgia. It sure brings me back. I completely agree with you becs. Nickelodeon was the absolute best thing to happen to my childhood. Before I had movies, I had Nick. It has since gone down the absolute shitter but we can always reminisce.....

Rocko's Modern Life.. Inspector Gadget.. Beetlejuice (the cartoon).. The Muppet Babies.. Wild and Crazy Kids.. Space Cases.. Legends of the Hidden Temple.. David the Knome.. Mr. Wizard (always on really early in the morning, I'd watch it when I woke up in the middle of the night).. Nick Arcade.. Alex Mack (always one of my favorites).. Clarissa Explains it All.. Double Dare.. What Would You Do.. Hey freaking Arnold!.. Hey Dude.. Ahh! Real Monsters.. Are You Afraid of the Dark.. Doug (of course)... Ren and Stimpy.. All That! (the kids version of SNL, why has this not come out on DVD yet!!!).. Angry Beavers (possibly the most awesome cartoon of the era).. Guts!.. Salute Your Shorts, and of course, the aforementioned, and my personal favorite, Pete and Pete!

Try and top that lineup, any other channel at any time ever!
