Yeah, even if a movie is opening on Wednesday, it only makes sense to include the movie for the whole season. The 2 days of missed box-office because of a Wednesday opening doesn't make any big difference so to exclude the movie entirely is ridiculous.

It's not a glitch. The game starts on the first Friday of the month and only movies opening after that can be included.

Thanks for the explanation janbec, that does make sense, and it's nice to know FM is still making an effort and reading these boards. It can't be easy to do what you guys are doing, and despite our griping we do very much appreciate it. Don't give up!

I know it's not a glitch, what I said was just because the movie opened like 2 days earlier, I think it's ridiculous to exclude the movie entirely for the whole season. 2 days worth of box-office will not have a major impact.

What I'm saying is it should be left open as an option for people if they want the film or not.

so the 70+ million that Transformers made in its first 2-3 days....that wasn't a major impact, was it??

Even if does make a difference, like the Transformers example you pointed at, it still should be an option to include the movie for the season.

This is the way it has always been. It is the most convenient way to start a season. If you have that much of a problem with it, Don't play. You act like you are forced to play on here. Those are the rules of the game so deal with them or leave.
