Man, this is a tough choice.
3 of these movies have star power.
1. Speed Racer. I love the cast and the Wachowskis haven't not made money on things yet. I've heard its almost all green screen and those haven't faired too well (Sky Captain anyone?). If it's dark and edgy, and has amazing race scenes, it'll kick butt. Plus, Emile is kind of hot right now. Once I see the trailer, I'll hopefully know more.
2. Iron Man. People are really excited about this movie. The trailer was a hit at Comic Con. Robert Downey Jr looks like he gives a great performance. People eat up comic book adaptations. No doubt it'll do well. But some people are burnt out on them too.
3. Chronicles of Narnia. Will do well among kids. It's a sequel too, so it's pretty much a shoe in. I didn't particularly care for the first, so I'm not going to see it.
4. Indiana Jones. Another great cast. You've got a sequel of one of the great trilogies (what do you call a movie franchise with four movies?). The producers said that they wouldn't do this movie unless it is a great story line. Problem is that the views of Spielberg and Lucas have changed. They aren't the same as they were over 20 years ago, when the first one was made.
Indiana Jones still has a place in peoples hearts and childhoods. Depends whether you want to expand it or demolish it.

Don't forget, too, that Sex and the City comes out on May 30th. Won't challenge any of these for supremacy (at least I hope not, yuck), but that and Indiana Jones could be like Devil Wears Prada / Superman all over again.

Agreed. The Sex and the City movie is the last movie on the planet that I am looking forward to.

People (like my sister) are itching for the Sex and the City movie.
Don't underestimate the power of 4 chicks sitting around, talking about sex. More powerful than a flying man made of iron or even Indiana himself.

Sex and the City is not bigger than Indiana Jones. It never will be. Period.

Man this is a tough one...As much as I'd love to see Indy as #1 I dont think its going to beat out Narnia 2. Indy will do close to 300, but I dont think it will quite break that mark...Narnia on the other hand will do closer to 350...Iron Man will do around 170-200 and Speed Racer...well yeah i agree with the consensus here...it totally depends on the trailers and marketing

I was exaggerating a little before because I love to.
Sex and the City will make loads of money. And Indie will make a lot too.

Maybe if it was released during the Christmas period like the last film. But $350M is out of the question.
It will struggle to even get near $300M.
The market's too crowded.

Sounds like Deathproof but with less action and much less hotter chicks.
Anyways. I picked Iron Man. Pretty sure I'm wrong. Being the "Christian Based" family film it is. It will make an S load of money.
But Iron Man in my opinion will be the best movie of the summer. possibly the year. It's gonna kick so much a$$ Robert Downey will make enough money to buy his own drug warehouses and pay off all the cops in his area of leisure. Probably not. but it'll come close.
As for being as busy as last year. I doubt it. I work at a small four screen in a small crappy town. By the time we got Pirates. We were selling out on both prints of that. Shrek. And spiderman. All four screens selling out with the worst movie schedule known to man. That mixed with retarted workers. My first summer to work my own shifts. and being short staffed. The day we get busier than that is the day I quit. I love my job but Late May of 07 was hell in our theater. And there's no way all of those movies are gonna gross over 300 mil each.

In all honesty, no matter how geeky a chick I am - I fix servers for a living, read comic books, play WoW and love everything Joss Whedon does (though Firefly is a particularly bright spot in his work)... I also own all 6 seasons of Sex and the City, the only other series discs I have are The 4400, Nip/Tuck, and MST3K eps...
I personally will be opting to see S&tC that weekend, and wait to see the flicks in this poll until the mad rush to see them has died down a couple weeks after their release.
