i'd have thought amanda bynes was the joker in the pack nick....what's she done that even remotely shows potential?? hairspray's the only movie/musical worth noting and she has barely any lines in it....

on the other hand, i am a fan of lindsay lohan - true she hasn't been in more than a couple of good movies, but she doe show glimpses of stellar potential in those movies, which i think can honestly be translated into something spectacular....alas!! if only underage alcoholism, shamelessly violating traffic laws and drug abuse were the social norm....

So many people to choose from. Lebouf, Knightly Efron, Johansson, Gosling. You did overlook somebody though. Nikki Blonsky from Hairspray.

Gosling. he's good I'll give him that. Buts hes no shia. I Robot. Disturbia. Transformers. All huge movies that made a lot of frickin dough and he did excellent acting in all. And we all remember how frickin awesome transformers was. Just don't play the game. Anyways. Dane Cook is old yes. But I think what he meant by the pole was that Cook is just now coming into his popularity. In the stand up world he is huge. I have no doubt it won't take him long to come into the movie biz. London and Employee were good movies. And he's had several other small roles that I can't think of right now. Anybody seen the one with him and Dennis Rodman. Now thats funny. anyways. Will Ferrel is already forty and he only hit his popularity streak a few years ago.

I think Ryan Gosling and James McAvoy are two great up and coming people.

I loved Ryan in Half Nelson. I just watched the trailer for Lars and The Real Girl, and it looks like a movie that he could just shine in.

I just saw Becoming Jane yesterday and James is about the only thing I liked about the movie. I also think he was great in a big budget movie like Narnia.

Im hoping that Jacob Zachar (Greek) could make a breakthrough in film and television. I saw him in a few short films and hes flawless. I cant wait to see more from him.

True, Shia's been in 3 high grossing movies, but only one of them succeeded BECAUSE of him. Disturbia I'll give you, but I Robot was the Will Smith show, and in Transformers, the robots were the draw. Yeah, he's in Indiana Jones next summer, but again, it's the franchise, not just him, that'll make the money. And his acting in Transformers wasn't even that good...

Is Waiting one of the Dane Cook roles you were thinking of?

Shia for sure. He made a so so sports movie very watchable (The Greatest Game Ever Played). Just saw Distubia about a week ago and I was shocked how much I liked it, being a huge Rear Window fan and all. Should be a very good second fiddle in the new Indy too. No question in my book about him being the brightest young star out there.

I would definetly put Joseph Gordon Levitt on that list, he was amazing in Brick and the movie did poorly but he was great in Lookout, he hasn't chosen any roles that I think could keep him from becoming the award winning type of actor, he seems to be solid.
