totally agree that Unleashed was a pretty weak film. Jet Li is the only reason i wanted to see it in the first place but it was still worth my time.

Please tell me he was kidding.
Unleashed happens to be one of my fav Jet Li movies. It shows that he can at least do decent acting before kicking the living sh(& out of people. Plus it Had Morgan Freeman and Bob f'n Hoskins. I loved it.
Anyways. I didn't put Jason Statham on the list because he is actually a martial artist. Just a really good action star who knows how to fight. And I should've put tony jaa on there because he's one of my favorites and his movies are also great. Steven Segal is on there because I wanted to see if people would actually vote for his sorry a@$.
On another note. What does everybody think about a movie with Jet Li and Jackie Chan. I mean come on. Me and My friends have been talking about this for years. Mainly because we wanted to see the two fight. But still. Its gonna be a wicked movie.
More importantly. The poll was mainly a joke anyways. Jet Li is definatley the better martial artist. While He was studying under the dahli lama and winning gold medals in china for Martial Arts.
Jackie Chan was at opera school and training to be a "Stunt Man". He just happen to be in the right place and get to do stunts for Bruce Lee. Which probably inspired him to be an action star instead. As for Steven. He was probably growing his hair out and having plastic surgery on his eyes to make him look and feel more asian. Tony Jaa I don't know much about. But he knows muay thai. And that makes him a registered Bad A#%

I'm sorry. Unleashed was a really good movie and I though it was great in showing Li's diversity in fighting styles. I mean. He altered it to fight like a dog. I though it was pretty cool. Kind of like the two different styles he used in the one.

cRAzY, I have a feeling that Forbidden Kingdom isn't exactly gonna show the Jet v. Jackie martial arts super-brawl that all their fans have been dreaming about. From what I understand, the movie is a quasi-fantasy movie with elements of magic and whatnot...

Well if it's a fantasy movie that is with Jet Li and Jackie Chan that's just stupid they are proably 2 of the 3 best martial artists living and they put them in a fantasy movie actually i doubt it proably is a martial arts movie i havent read the plot so i dont for sure but that stupid if it is a fantasy movie.

Let's see, what will you get when you watch Forbidden Kingdom...

On the one hand, the movie will have:

* Jackie Chan
* Jet Li
* Collin Chou -- the kung fu guy and Oracle's bodyguard in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, the one who fought Neo on the tables and the benches. He's also Hayate in Dead or Alive (DOA).
* Crystal Liu Yi-Fei -- an actress/singer who played the enchanting "kung-fu-wolf-in-sheep's-clothing" girl Xiao Long Nü in the Chinese TV series Return of the Condor Heroes (2006). See her gallery here as Xiao Long Nü.
* The action director is Yuen Woo-Ping, who as you may know is also the action director of The Matrix, Kill Bill and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. He's also the film director of Jackie Chan's 1978 movies Snake In The Eagle's Shadow and Drunken Master. (In both movies, the funny old drunken kung-fu master was played by Yuen Woo-Ping's own father, Simon Yuen Siu-Tien).
* The movie will be based on a Chinese legend of the Monkey King. The same legend is also responsible for the Dragon Ball anime/manga.

On the other hand, the movie will also have:
* Rob Minkoff -- The director of Lion King and Stuart Little. He will be the director of Forbidden Kingdom.
* Michael Angarano -- He was in the TV series Will and Grace and in the Disney movie Sky High, and he also played the role of a teenager with cancer in One Last Thing. In the Forbidden Kingdom, he will be the modern American teenager who will get transported back to ancient China.

Now weigh them all on the scale and decide whether the movie's worth watching.

JetLi for me but I do enjoy Jackie Chan.As far as "Unleashed" in my opinion this Jet's best all round film to date.Also looking forward to next weeks release of "War " with kick master who should have been on this list Jason Statham.
Kudos must be given to Jackie Chan for making his form of comedy-Fu an international hit on all levels.Not since Bruce Lee has a Martial-artest been so globaly acepted.Well that's my 2-cents atleast.

I don't think they will fight in this movie. From what I understood Jackie Chan was trying to rescue Jet Li or something. I still think it will be wicked just to see them on screen together. I didn't notice collin chou. thats pretty sweet too. He was great in the matrix

Actually, there will be a fight scene between Jacky Chan and Jet Li. Jacky even hurt Jet accidentally during the filming. Their fight scene was too fast such that the camera speed had to be slowed down. See also Jet Li's comments.

They slow the camera down in all jet li's movies. thats old news. I guess I'll have to go back to the imdb and check for updates. Thats funny though. Opera man Chan hurt Jet effing Li. And here I thought he was the quickest little asian dude alive. Still my hero though.
