Good Luck Chuck for me, followed closely by Shoot 'Em Up and Jesse James.
I'll definitely see The Kingdom as well, and though the theatrical trailer makes it look awful, the red band trailer for The Brothers Solomon has its moments.

I think the brothers solomon looks pretty funny. Both Wills are pretty funny. They're a little new but I think once they get the hang of it they could be big time comedy actors. Didn't Will Forte do some Script work with Apatow. I could be wrong. But I could've swore I saw he co wrote a script for a recent movie.

Though Good Luck Chuck is getting the press I think Run, Fatboy, Run will sweep the comedy genre for opening weekend. Simon Pegg has gained quite a cult following with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, this movie looks to be equally hilarious.
RE:Extinction is going to be the biggest box office of the month, because although 3:10 to Yuma and Assassination of Jesse James have the star power to carry them, the general public isn't ready for the Western revival hollywood seems to want. There was one in the 90's and we simply aren't ready for another yet. I think RE will also cut into the profits for War quite a bit for those looking for sheer action, and The Kindom will take those who want action/explosions with a story behind it, so I'm really up in the air on how War will fare between the two.
ummmm Resident Evil 3 the biggest movie of the month? Run, Fat Boy, Run as the biggest comedy? Im sure tons of movie goers will line up on their flying pigs for those 2 on highly improbable day.

Resident evil has potential for bigger movie of the month. It has developed quite a fan base. It has action fans, zombie fans, and the loveable Milla fans. I'm not saying it will be. But it defiately has potential.
And whats the biggie with woodcock. Must not be very many thorton and scott fans here. I think it's gonna be pretty dam funny myself. But thats what I said about school for scoundrels too. Hmmmm. I hope this one doesn't disappoint.

I think that Resident Evil 2 was so bad that many fans will not be returning. And Run, Fat Boy, Run looks stupid and i cant fathom it being a hit. I do think Thr Brave One and The Kingdom will be pretty big. Jodie Foster is a very reliable star and that trailer was pretty great..."i want my dog back" hahaha. And the Kingdom looks to repeat Jarhead which did almost 80 million.

I just watched 300- finished it not even an hour ago- and it had two trailers on it that I hadn't seen before- The Brave One and Trick 'r Treat. There may have been some others, but they already left my memory.
I think that The Brave One looks good- but is an audience going to pay to see Jodie Foster enact here inner Death Wish Bronson again? As best as I can remember, thist is her third or fourth movie in a row where she plays that kind of character (she reprised her Clarise typecast in The Inside Man somewhere inbetween those roles). But all that being said, the trailer looks solid and I would consider renting it, posibly going to it with a friend if he/she wanted to see it.
I don't know when Trick 'r Treat is being released, but I liked the trailer. I know that horror films have been used and abused a lot the last couple of years, but I thought it looked promising. It seemed stripped down to its basic horror/ ghost story elements and as long as it can get a slightly distinctive voice with it, I think it could be in the same league as such flawed features as the original Fog or the first Jeepers Creepers.
Any thoughts? Has any one else seen trailers to these movies?
(I'm still processing what I think about 300. Either way, that comment doesn't really belong on this thread anyways.)
