Yes! Only 12 mil behind Evan and it cost way, WAY less...

More like these, please.

I chose evan(
Did not make a good deal, but made a few too many bad deals. Like surf's up.

I think though that either death at a funeral or rescue dawn will be good deals for me... i hope

I read the Death of a Funeral script and it's funny as hell...

I'm starting to think Live Free and Die Hard was worth the dough I paid for it...

It is pretty clear now that 1408 was without a doubt the greatest deal of 2007

Talk to Me looks like another good deal. It's nabbed 3 PTA points so far, and it has a decent IMDB score. Worth 5 Dollars

I've been tracking the best deals of the May-July game for Box Office leagues, in millions earned per dollar cost. as of this week:
1. 1408, 33.91 ($2)
2. Live Free or Die Hard, 11.72 ($10)
3. Mr. Brooks, 9.40 ($3)
4. Knocked Up, 8.41 ($17)
5. Transformers, 8.05 ($33)
6. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, 7.60 ($2
7. 28 Weeks Later, 7.15 ($4)
8. License to Wed, 6.50 (yeah, I was surprised too) ($6)
9. Hairspray, 6.40 ($5)
10. Ocean's Thirteen, 6.37 ($1
I THINK the current best possible box office moguls lineup for May-July is that top 7 plus Waitress, but there might be a better one possible. I can post next week's update if anyone's interested, Simpsons is likely to affect the list.
Can anyone point me toward the data I would need to try figuring the same stuff out for Ultimate (or at least for the individual categories)? I wasn't keeping track of PTA and top 5 points for anything other than my own picks.

carency, I liked how you broke that down.

Do you know how Stomp the Yard and Wild Hogs compared with the rest of your list?

With the success of Wild Hogs and Hairspray does that mean Travolta is back from the box office dead and among the box office living? Just a thought.

In his next movie maybe he and Martin Lawrence should both dress in and drag and do and do a biker movie. They could call it Big Mama's House 3: Road Hogs and it could star a cameo of Tyler Perry.

Some of you may think this is rediculous, but in the cut and paste world of Hollywood, you konw at least one studio exec has considered this idea legitimately.

YES! It should be called "RV Hogs: Big Mama's House on Wheels"

resistance, are you trying to include Robin Williams in my cross dressing road trip movie? Because you know Mrs. Doubtfire has to be included. Maybe Perry and Williams could run a roadside diner called the Buzzard's Nest as a cameo scene together.

And we can't forget some 'hot' model just turned actress as the love interest who could rider along with the two as they road trip. Because nothing is hotter to see on screen than two men in fat suits fighting each other for the attention of a 'hottie'.

Maybe if we are lucky some one could show me how Eddie Murphy could get involved with this project. We could promise a fairly large amount of money or maybe a small piece of his soul back for all the movies he sold out to do.
