tuan, I am assuming from the post that you didn't like The Core. For me, Core's best film cousin would be something like The 13th Warrior or The Time Machine- movies that I wanted to like alot because of the story but somewhere in the follow though they got lost.
I was wondering was it the story or the follow though that you disliked about The Core?

License to Wed is shooting up my list on a bullet. I had serious doubts about this movie, but after seeing the trailers for this movie and realizing that the male counterpart to Ms. Moore is John Krasinski, I'm now sold and look forward to seeing this movie. I have only recently become acquainted with The Office, but after watching the first two seasons I can say that any movie that Jim is in, (especially with a comedic genius like Robin Williams) I am going to go see. Yes, I know Robin Williams has had some questionable ventures of late but I think this one will exceed expectations.

I really dislike Robin Williams, and the movie just doesnt't look good.
As for the poll, I'm looking forward to Bourne Ultimatum and Sunshine. I'm surprised people still want to see Rush Hour, I had no idea it would still be popular.

Yeah, seriously, who the heck voted for 'Rush Hour 3' anyway?
Wait a second...
It'll be terrible and I'm going to love every awful, cringe-worthy moment.

As much as I love Many Moore's hotness and John Krasinki's comedic talent, I'm hoping this movie fails, and even BOMBS. Why? Because I've seen Transformers and want it to rack up every dollar in every citizen's wallet it can.

Seriously, man, send your resume to Paramount, they've got to have a spot in their hype department for you...
As for License to Wed, I'm watching it tonight ("quality check"), so I guess I'll see if it's actually decent. Tomatometer is only at 20%, but that's just 5 reviews.

I'm sensing a growing but tentative interest in 'License to Wed.' Nothing great should be expected but everyone I've talked to has been cautiously optimistic or -- even better -- a little interested in seeing it. I think the trailer is starting to win people over. Guess we'll find out next weekend, eh?

I plan on going to see it. Robin williams hasn't disappointed me yet and mandy moore is too fine to wait for dvd. Although i did for because i said so that kinda makes me a hippocrit or a liar or something like that doesn't it.

So it looks like 'License to Wed' is a disaster. I'm hoping it can hold on and steal a few top 5 points and thereby lessen the damage. Hilarious ad campaign for the film as Warner Bros has gone into full damage control. The tv ad proclaims that the movie is a hit with the critics and goes on to show three quotations ... two of which are by THE SAME GUY! Sounds like a winner, eh?
