We used to joke like this, only we thought Uwe Boll would be the one to adapt them since the video game world won't touch him anymore.

Movie Voice Over Guy:
"This Fall prepare to be Kinged..."
Random Action Hero:
"We have to get to the other side..."
Random Action Babe:
"How can we? We can only step on the red squares. If we step on the black ones...boom. Plus, you can't jump those guys on that bum leg you got. There's no way..."
Action Hero:
"I have to try, I need to fulfill my rightful destiny as the new king, and the only way to do that is get to the other side. Are you with me or not..."
Action Babe:
"I've always loved you....King"
*they kiss*
Voice over Guy:
"From the Producer who brought you Old Maid, and the Director of Shoots and Ladders comes...Checkers: The Movie .

Rated R for Nudity, Language, and Strong Creature Violence.

Dominoes. Now there's a game that you can totally make a movie about.

OH dear god, how on earth can you make a movie out of a board game? Guess you could say those movie execs must be board ahahahaha

Guess you never saw the film version of Clue, huh? It came out a while back, and it starred Tim Curry (who was great), Eileen Brennan, Christopher Lloyd, Leslie Ann Warren, Martin Mull, Madeline Kahn and Michael McKean. It was slapsticky and dumb, but there were parts that were funny as hell. Almost Mel Brooks-ish.

Plus, a bit of a novelty: there were three endings made, and which ending you saw depended on which theater you saw it in. When it came to cable TV, they included all three endings.

Best thing about that movies was Leslie Ann Warren... Yum yum. Twas funny in parts tho.

I know we've been joking about this for a while, but I thought of one that could actually work.

Imagine a world ruled by tyrannical leaders bent on world domination. Imagine that world becoming the battlefield on which that domination is won and lost. Imagine the leader that is able to do what it takes to hold Asia for more than a turn and use its massive armies to crush the rest of the world. Do you have what it takes to risk everything in order to secure victory? Someone does.

Risk: The Movie of Global Domination

Throw in some hot young actors and actresses as the megalomaniacal generals/dictators and you've got a smash hit on your hands!!!!

This is a movie I would definitely go see!

Get Jessica Alba in it and Uwe Boll to direct it, then I'd watch.

I have what I think would be a great title for a movie. It definitely wouldn't reac h Shakespearean depth, but it could fall in the so dumb it's funny and smart (see Idiocracy).

In my head for it to work you would need two protagonists (a la dumb and dumber) who's motivatikon to antagonize stems from a Woody Woodpecker cartoon (mostly because the antagonists happens to be there) in a dry slacker film style (by way of Napolean Dynamite). For it to baked and set properly you would have Cohen Bros. cooking (see Raising Arizona- really you need to this movie if you haven't yet), equally mixing the highest and lowest comic logic.

And the title

FUN WITH TAZERS

the tag line

VOLUNTEERS WANTED

the poster

The two protagonists with stupid/ devious grins on their faces both holding the same oversized tazer (non-phalicly please).
