Well then. I think we can all look forward to interesting new deaths now with the latest hostel. This one ought to be interesting.

It's hard to say what is horror now a days? I dont think Wolf Creek is horror but i thought it was a good film none the less i would give it 7/10 but each person is entitled to their opinion off course.

I am sadened that i dont think enough horror movies are made and that some of them are just plain pants but still i would go and watch them as i will be doing with hostel 2. But is hostel 2 a horror film?

Last horror movie that really scared the hooha out of me, The Descent. It was a good combination of building tension (Rhode) and BOO! scares.

And Hostel 2 was garbage, I was really looking forward to it, I hated it. I wont go into too many details, as I just made my argument in another post, but I hated it...

And no, I would not pay $10 to go see Hostel 2.

Neither do I . But i still am curious about this movie . It's not the gore that i liked in the first movie. It was more than that, i liked especially the ending...

Then you are really going to hate this one, the ending was absolute trash. Oooh, painfully bad...

The descent was awesome. That movie had my girlfriend sitting in my lap the last half of the movie because it scared her. I thought she was being a baby but why ruin the moment. As for horror movies in general. I think it just depends on what type of horror your really into. Unlike other genres the horror can cover many different types. Thrillers, Gore porns, slashers(my favs), Scary, and of course Serial Killer movies. So most people probably like all of these in general so they call themselves horror fans. where others only like certain kinds of horror movies. If you ask me Descent and Hostel and not completely different movies but there is a major difference in the type of movie it is. People go watch movies like the descent to be scared. And let's face it. We Hostel Fans all go watch it to see people die in cool ways right after getting wasted and screwing really hot european chiks. I think it just depends on who you talk to on whether you should take their opinion or not. Some people don't like watching a movie with no real storyline where people just die pointlessly and thats great for them but I could really give two shakes of a lambs tail what they think about it. Know wat I mean.

I am pretty disappointed in that but i still want to see it because i liked the first one. And i think cRAzY is right .Myself i like horror movies but not just to see people dying pointlessly. For example in Hostel i liked the idea and the twist in the end when Paxton (Hernandez) have the possibility to revenge his friends. And the entire movie was a good horror even if the story wasn't.

Everyone has an oppinion. I'll wait until i see the movie and after that i will make my own oppinion. And if we were talking about horror movies , last night i saw Ringu (the original japanese movie that inspired "The ring"). I really enjoyed it.

I thought hostel was cool and funny. Especially the blood bath. But I don't think it came close to the first one.

Don't listen to the haters.

The ending of Hostel 2 is hilarious and oh so awesome. That's what I want in a gore/horror film.

What did you like about it, the fact that it came from a pointless, stupid sub-plot, or the fact that it ended with the stupid, pointless sub-plot from the first one?
Or maybe the fact that in a wholly unfeasible movie, the ending was even more unfeasible?

I liked the first one, I really did, but come on...
