I didn't say Fantastic Four will do better than Harry Potter box office wise i said FF2 will be a better film than Harry Potter 5. Harry Potter 3 was the worst on in the franchise Alfonso Cuaron did a terrible job with it.The Best one was Harry Potter 4. Goblet of Fire had suspense good acting and a really great direction by Mike Newell. Plus Fantastic Four has the bad-ass factor working for it. I have not been drinking the crazy juice that's just my opinion.

i'm gonna have to agree with the pro-harry potter people, and not because i love the series...which i do. but the last book of the series is being released the week after the book, which may be the most genius marketing move after "who shot JR" its weird, before i was even into the books, i would see the movies, because i felt like i had to for some reason. my sister, who's in high school says a lot of her friends now are the same way. so i think that's where the biggest draw will be from----teens who don't want to feel left out.

Gotta go with Harry Potter, followed closely by Jason Bourne. As far as the FF2 goes, yeah it should be pretty cool, but it's not going to be of the same caliber as HP.

I'm going to say that Harry Potter will be the biggest movie of the summer, as in making the most money this summer. It's got everything going for it. It's coming out at the perfect time: all three of the "big trilogies" came out already, transformers is coming out the week before HP5, it's got a huge fan base, universal appeal, everybody has heard of Harry Potter (weather they're a fan or not), no other REALLY BIG movie is coming out after it (although Simpsons fans will argue that point; Simpsons time has passed, it has been around for almost twenty years; besides, with Homer saving the world, we're doomed!) and the last book is being released ten days after the movie. Things couldn't look any better for HP5.

I am in total agreement. The release of the final book makes the threat of 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry' taking first place minimal, and could well see Harry Potter holding down third place in its third weekend!

YAAY!!! Harry Potter is winning!!

It will do bigger numbers than every other movie this summer, except for maybe Pirates or Spider-Man.

Wait, why is Halloween on the list? It's a remake, not a sequel.

To the good people of Fantasy Moguls, "Halloween" is not a sequel; It's a remake.
