Fireproof was NOT available (one of the few that wasn't).

Yeah, I'd be interested to know how the PTA shakes out. Appaloosa is still showing in 14 theaters (same as last week), while The Duchess expands to 55 (from 7 last week). We'll see how that plays out in the Top 5 PTA.

Going off the first BOM estimates from Friday, Eagle Eye, The Dutchess and Appaloosa are 1-3 in that order (excluding Fireproof obviously since it's not in game). Should be interesting to see how it shakes out.

I just saw "Eagle Eye" and it's not a great movie. It's a thrill ride in the vein of the Tony Scott films, but it's not smart enough. For September though, it's a nice surprise. I'd give it a C rating. The rumor is that the idea came about when Spielberg started talking about an Xbox game he had been playing in a company meeting and they ran with the idea of a machine going haywire. Take notice of the female machine and how close it looks to HAL in "2001".

Wow, The Lucky Ones was a great Bankrupts pick. I hope that Forever Strong was as well.

Igor somehow jumped from 7th place on Friday and 6th place on Saturday to 3rd place on Sunday. Something tells me the actuals will be lower than the estimates.

The last spot for the PTA is up for contention too, with Hounddog just a matter of dollars below Choke. It's gonna be tight when the final numbers come in.

That's interesting. I'd given up on Hounddog doing anything, and now it might scrape in 1 PTA point.
And only $100 difference between The Duchess and Appaloosa.
What's the bet that Fireproof stuffs up FMs scoring (at least at first).
