Actually, it was Nico who started it.

In the Fantastic Four comic books (and in the second FF movie), the Silver Surfer was the herald of Galactus, the World-Eater. Being a comic buff, Nico picked up on this and christened SS "Herald".

Wow, seems like I might just..but only..JUST hang on in the box office tournaments...can't say the same for the ULTs though.

Well.. I guess it's goodbye for me in the ULT full year.. Damn.. I have good slates coming up, but i couldn't get through this round TDK-less.

Ok my final analysis:

Red Zone will = legendkiller, kompressr, binkley, pulpclub, kilgore, green arrow, barcarulz, banksisdafuture, synestro and mr. funktastic.

If everything goes the way I think it will, tonberry will stay ahead of me, and I will just beat out banks for the final spot in. Of course, he stays in because of his im. This is my realistic analysis, and not just wishful thinking. This is giving Eagle Eye 30 million, 5 PTA, 5 top 5 and a 6.6 imdb score.

I would not bet on Eagle Eye bringing in 5 PTA if it only makes $30m. That would only give you about $8-9,000 PTA, and after The Duchess' performance last week, I wouldn't think it enough to get the top spot.

Saturday Predictions

Okay, using BOM's and Mase's estimates, here's how I project the weekend shaking out:

Top 5
5 pts - Eagle Eye
4 pts - Rodanthe
3 pts - Lakeview
2 pts - Burn After
1 pt - Righteous

PTA
5 pts - Eagle Eye
4 pts - Duchess
3 pts - Appaloosa
2 pts - Rodanthe
1 pt - Choke

Using these figures, along with IMDb's current UR's for these movies, I am making the following predictions as to "the bubble" in each tournament (remember, these are tenuous!).

Ultimate FY:

Girls_with_Glasses and d0nnie dark0 are definitely safe.
Mister Funktastic is definitely out, and synestro WILL be cashing in his IM.

Which means that the final two spots in the yellow will go will go to the top two finishers of the following: BanksIsDaFuture, Tonberry3001, and geezer. In my scenario, I actually have T3 and geez in a TIE for the last spot, which would mean you all move on.

Ultimate HY:

As expected, asw878, Banks, and transformers2 all fall below the line.
A_Roode, Joeski50 and dranscht appear to be safe.

My current scenario has geezer and Serra242 just above the line, with TeeBeeBee, rasgriz, goldenboy and BrentBaines just below it.

Box Office FY:

Kompressr and numbersix are definitely safe.
A_Roode and synestro will pass both asw878 and manincellv, which will spell the end for them.

Box Office HY:

SAMIAM1000 and Alyson, two of the few players who DIDN'T have Eagle Eye, take a huge tumble but finish just above the yellow line, along with Kompressr and cdelgado.

tsabin falls into the red, and out of the tournament. The very last spot in the yellow zone will go to either silversurfer or rasgriz. At this moment, I give the nod to Herald.

Remember, these are NOT final stats, by any stretch, just a rough estimate, so don't rejoice (or panic) just yet.

I don't know if it's going to make that muh of a difference, but after Sat.'s numbers Igor will probably get the #5 BO spot. I refuse to believe that I am out of the red zone in BO FY, until the final numbers are posted. Talk about a FLUKE. I'll dedicate my victory thread in January to the man who threw me a rope at the end of this season. Thankee, sai.

Okay, the following changes have been made according to BOM.

Igor gets that final Top 5 spot instead of Righteous Kill.

Eagle Eye gets three PTA points, finishing behind The Duchess and Appaloosa instead of ahead of them.

Assuming the final numbers don't change drastically, and there aren't any major shifts in UR, here's how the tourney's stack up:

ULTIMATE FY

geezer and Tonberry make the cut, only a point ahead of Mister F, who doesn't. Banks loses his IM.

undeadmonkey and Shryke42 finish in the Top 2.

ULTIMATE HY

A_Roode, geezer, Joeski, dranscht, and Serra squeak by, TeeBeeBee and rasgriz don't. (Sorry, dude.)

IMs go to silversurfer, rscharer, slade605 and aquamann2001

BOX OFFICE FY

synestro gets the final spot, finishing $7 million ahead of manincellv. asw878 is indeed also out.

annyonggob888 and pulpclub finish in the green.

BOX OFFICE HY

silversurfer and rasgriz are safe, and SAMIM1000 grabs the final spot in the yellow zone, less than $3 million ahead of Alyson, who is out. Tough luck.
