What about Resident Evil?

Not sure if its been mentioned but i dont think 28 days later classes as a zombie movie. Aren't zombies undead where are as 28 days later people just have a rage virus.

Im an idiot i forgot about Shaun of The Dead Planet Terror, and Evil Dead 2 in my poll. I think 28 Days Later is a zombie movie because it is people getting infected and killing other humans.

I loved Shawn of the Dead but come on it was a joke. You need a classic like Dawn of the Dead.

Anyone see 28 weeks later yet? It's not as good as the first, but there's pretty nasty scenes, very unrelenting. My favourite zombie/infected movies now stand

I'm so sick of hearing how "28 Days Later" is technically not a zombie movie every time I see a zombie forum.

It's probably the same guy posting it everywhere.

Although there are no "undead" in the film, it is zombie-oriented wherein the setting is a post-apocalyptic world and most of the people are dead except for a few survivors and something walking outside their door wants to kill them..

I would call that a "zombie" movie.

So it's not "technically" a zombie movie. We get it now. But I'd say it's a lot closer to being a zombie movie than, say, Gone with the Wind or Willy Wonka.

IMO... I think the Resident Evil movies are the best zombie movies ever. Closely followed by the original Night of the Living Dead

Yup. I forgot all about resident evil. Those were pretty rad. I think theyre more action than zombie even though it was about zombie. But still good. especially since they got slipknot and killswitch to do the singles for the two already out. They should have all that remains do the third. They did the song on saw three and I've been in love ever since.

I was also looking for Shaun of the Dead on that list. Where??? ;o)

Resident Evil 2 was totally unwatchable. Just a flaming piece of crap.

Paul Anderson should have his ass burnt for it.
