Well... to "bomb" means to "come in well below expectations". So, to that extent, I think you can eliminate Delta Farce and Captivity, given how low expectations already are. There are not even trailers out (as far as I know) for Invasion, Daddy Day Camp and I Know Who Killed Me, so I'll reserve judgement.

I think Nancy Drew and FF2 will do fine. Shrek 3, Ocean's 13, Die Hard 4, Chuck and Larry, Mr. Brooks and Bug will be anywhere from just-below-average to just-above.

Which leaves? Underdog and Georgia Rule.

Let's hope Underdog doesn't turn out as something like 'Firehouse Dog'.

I'm loving hating Nancy Drew...but I can see it just scraping past Georgia Rule in the seriously sucks stakes (SSS as I like to call it).

Yeah, looks like Georgia Rule will be king of the SSS this Summer. I said Delta Farce in the poll, which I shouldn't have considering no one has any expectations.

I think there's going to be at least one of the Huge Summer Films that will be an unexpected bomb. That will be either Evan Almighty, Ocean's 13, Knocked Up (which will depend on reviews), Die Hard 4, or Rush Hour 3.

I hope it will be Evan Almighty, but I expect it will be Die Hard. I would say Rush Hour 3 but it's out at a less competitive time.

Why do you HOPE that, numbersix? Did you just hate Bruce Almighty? Do you have something against Steve Carell? Are you bothered by the film's pseudo-religious overtones? Or is there another reason?

I am going to revise my previous entry, when I picked both Georgia Rule and Underdog, and just go with straight-up Georgia Rule. FM predicted it would make $86 million, and Nico predicted $60-$70 million. Given the scathing reviews it's already gotten, I'd be surprised if it even pulled in $30 at this point. It seems to be every bit as annoying and hackneyed as Because I Said So (which made $42M), with even less endearing cast members.

Ms. Lohan needs to take a step or fifty-seven back, and decide whether to get her shit together or ride the Chris Farley train straight to Hell. Oh, and Ms. Lohan? If they offer you the lead in The Courtney Love Story? Pass.

I hope it's Evan Almighty because I put a bet on with my fellow Fantasy moguls (one of them being you, Shryke) that it would make under 200mil!

To be honest, the trailer is so awful that I wouldn't touch the film with a barge pole. I love Steve Carell but the trailer is just utterly unfunny, despite its attempts to be so.

The most likely to bomb (fall short of expectations) for this summer:

The Simpsons Movie!

Even though the Simpsons has a dedicated fan base, even most of them know that this movie is at least 7 or 8 years past its prime. Yeah, some of the real diehards will show up for opening night but after that, its all going to be downhill.

I don't think it will bomb, but I don't think it'll do amazing. It has a loyal fanbase. Almost everyone in my country likes the show (I've only met one person who doesn't like it), and even though it's be going downhill in the last few years, it's enough of an event to draw some crowds. It won't be a great hit but it will be no.1 in its opening week, and should make it past 100mil.

Unfortunately they have previews for daddy day camp and it ain't pretty. Thats probably the least funny preview I've ever seen. Wait, the first one sucked to. Well that explains it.

Im puttin my money on underdog. Anyone who even watched one of the original shows should be pissed they're making this movie. The dog sounds downright retarted. And the preview is so lame it makes the nativity story look like a masterpiece movie. Not that I have anything against religious movies. I just think its stupid as hell when people call you atheist just because you didn't like a movie based on religion. What exactly are these people worshiping here. Main reason I stopped going to church. That and I had to work.

What exactly is Daddy Day Camp?

Is this the sequel to Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy?

If so, is he in it?

I seriously cannot be bothered looking it up.
