This was very fun and I think we should do it again! Leestu, you're lucky Blindness was delayed cuz I would have had you in the BK league! It was close though, well played sir.

Well put. In the end a great match up.I think you are probably right about Bankrupts. Our match up pretty much played out as Donte called it Ultimate to me, BO (my weakness) to you, and you probably would have had the edge in BR, but it was close for the whole season. I loved the synchronicity of my 2nd in Ultimate versus your 2nd in BO, combined with Donte's 1st in BO versus Ashkul's 1st in Ultimate. You can't script results like that, at least not without being scoffed at.

p.s. Brockster: I knew you had a killer BO slate when I first saw it. I looked at it before building my own and said to myself that there is no way I can beat that unless TDK underperforms, so I had to take the risk and go the other way. My only other option would have been to play pretty much the same slate (which is not fair play or good sportsmanship in my book). We all know what happened next.

i know it's getting redundant, but congrats to the RoW team.. you guys really clobbered us... i blame it on the economy.. props to Mr. Burgundy, Shrykey, and Aly (i taught her everything she knows).. and thanks to Barca for orchestrating the whole thing.. (and for presenting the results in such a way that it ALMOST looked like we had a chance)

Hey,Barca, considering Shryke is taking a well-deserved break by only starting up the new Superleagues in January, how about a Winter Fantalympics? I'm eager to have a rematch!

That was always the plan #699. I'll be on holidays then and can commit more to updates and weekly features, and people won't have to worry about slate overload.

It'll start in December, sign ups will start 10 days before (maybe a little more)..

oh damn!! i just noticed that i barely missed out on the medals!! and that too with Hancock killing my BO slate!! ironically, in the AP25 poll, i placed 4th also, in the exact same spot!!

but looking ahead, i'm definitely up for another round Barca....a job well done buddy, and maybe in the next round, i won't have a Hancock destroying my BO slate....

Ash, I think it's funny you claim a movie that made 200mil. ruined your slate.

Barca, this was definitely an extremely fun experience! Can't wait for the next round.

The last film that ruined slates was Semi-Pro and it barely made 40 Mil. That sucked. Hancock made 200 Mil and if you had it you lost. TDK was unstoppable.

well, by itself it didn't but in the context of its face off against the 500+mil grossing TDK, i'd say it irreversibly damaged my slate, wouldn't you?

I'd have to say the the lack of TDK killed you, not Hancock... It didn't irreversibly damage your slate, because if they would have thought TDK was too high priced, you still could have won. So the lack of TDK killed you...
